Parametric optimization of daylight, thermal and energy performance of middle school classrooms, case of hot and dry regions

In school buildings, especially learning spaces, good daylight and thermal conditions are important to promote the educational process, as unsatisfactory comfort levels can reduce physical intellectual performance for both teachers pupils. However, achieving successful classroom designs is rather complicated, it requires balancing of various interrelated factors, which particularly challenging hot dry climates. recent years, major improvements have been made in building optimization methods, genetic algorithms used search high performing design solutions shown their efficiency solving such complex problems.
